Child of the Sunflowers

She stands alone, tall and proud "I am cyclical, I will die and live again. Like a sunflower, I am forever" she whispers, as she fades away into the sunflower field to die, but she will return...eventually, only to be tortured by the bitter cruel winters and suffocating poison of which she will have no choice but to breathe. She will die, but will live, she will die, but return, she will die.
